Start and Finish / Course

The start and finish for this years race will be the same spot. It will be located in the lot adjacent to the Historic Flight Foundation Hanger. Please plan to arrive early because parking may be at a premium.

STAY LEFT!!!!
It is vitally important all runners stay in the left hand lane at all times. Please do NOT cross over the yellow lines into the right lane. This is very important so we can avoid any head on collisions with other runners and to assure a high quality event for everyone.

*Runners will be running on a LIVE airport near a LIVE runway. STAY ON THE RACE COURSE AT ALL TIMES DURING THE RACE. Course monitors will line the course to ensure no one crosses the safety perimeter.

*It is a federal offense to cross the safety perimeter; the race will cease, all airport operations will cease, the Aviation Day event will also cease if anyone crosses the safety perimeter. If you cross the safety perimeter then you will be arrested and charged with a felony for trespassing.

Run course closes at 10:00 am; an escort vehicle will pick up those still on course. Please plan to finish the course within this time limit. This is a 14.5 minute mile pace for 10K runners and a 19.35 minute pace for 5K runners.

Always remain within coned areas – do not cross caution taped/coned-off areas.

Course Map:

The 5K and 10K both start with running North for the out and back course.  The 10K continues South for an out and back.
